Amy Darrah is President and Co-Founder of DayOne Matters. She is surviving Triple Negative Breast Cancer. A native Cincinnatian, she and her husband, Scott, have two children and reside in Montgomery. Amy is passionate about her 2 English Springer Spaniels and enjoys art, music, her garden, cooking & coffee with friends. She is a member of Armstrong United Methodist Church.
Amy has allowed cancer to change her for the better. During her chemo and radiation treatments, it became clear to her that she was being called to do something positive with her experience and that it was her duty to give back to cancer Fighters, Survivors, Caregivers and friends. She is committed to helping women thrive & focus on the positive through their cancer journeys by offering friendship, support, caring and compassion.
Brenda Walton is Co-Founder of DayOne Matters. She is a uterine cancer survivor whose experience has provided her the opportunity to use her knowledge to help others. Through her journey, she recognized the loneliness and isolation so many women feel as they fight cancer. Brenda is committed to making a difference so that no woman walks alone, no matter where she is in her journey.
Brenda is a life-long Cincinnatian and she and her husband, Ed, have been married for more than 27 years. Together, they have 3 sons and reside in Montgomery. Brenda enjoys being a mom, cooking for her family & she is a member of Good Shepherd Church. She is passionate about continuing the cancer conversation and making connections with women, offering them empowerment, positivity, friendship & information on how to not only survive but THRIVE!
